The available options are...
<C>hange drive
This function will not be available to all users. If you do have access
to this function, you can type in the new host drive at the prompt. This
function will not change directories.
<D>ownload a file
Downloading means that you want to receive a file from the host. If you
wish to download a file, select download, then enter the name of the
file to download. If the file exists, you will be prompted which
transfer protocol you wish to use. Select a protocol and then go into
your program and receive the file. There is a special case if you
select Ymodem, Ymodem-G or Zmodem which allow for batch transfers.
After selecting one of these protocols, you will be prompted for any
additional files to download. When you wish to download the files you
selected, press return.
<G>oodbye
Selecting "Goodbye" will bring you to the prompt "Are you sure? <Y/N>:"
Typing a Y and pressing return will log you off Host Mode.
<H>elp
This selection will get you to this screen. The Help screen you are
reading is actually the contents of a text file named HOSTHELP.TXT.
<L>ist files
Selecting "List" will prompt you for a standard DOS file search string.
For example, typing *.txt and pressing return will list all files in the
current directory that have a .TXT extension.
<M>ove directory
This function will not be available to all users. If you do have access
to this function, you can type in the new host path at the prompt. This
function will not change drives. It will only change paths on the
default drive.
<U>pload a file
Uploading means that you want to send a file to the host. Just like the
Move directory selection, uploading is not available to every user. If
you wish to upload a file, select upload, then select which protocol you
wish to use. If you are uploading using Xmodem, you must also give the
filename for the host machine. If you are uploading using either
Ymodem/Ymodem-G, Zmodem or Kermit/SuperKermit, you do not need to
specify a filename, because these protocols will transfer the original
filenames. At this time you should go into your program and send the
file.
